The Organ Ogres

For the first time, Orgue et couleurs will take part in the Montreal All-Nighter, an
event in the Montreal High Lights Festival, with an entertaining musical marathon
entitled The Organ Ogres, on Saturday, February 25, 2006.
For six hours, over the course of several recitals and an improvisation match,
organists will move heaven and earth to draw audiences into the wonderful world of the
organ.
Each recital will start with the essential Toccata and Fugue in D Minor (BWV 565) by
Johann Sebastian Bach.
The organists will also display another side of their talent when they face off in an
improv match, before the participant audience which will vote for the winning team.
