Fairyland

The magical and enchanting world of the fairy, as imagined by different composers over the years.

8:00 pm Grand Concerts

The Classics Remixed!

Moderns have always liked to remix the classics, and in this concert, the homages transcend the centuries with the premiere of a work for organ and electroacoustic music, Chorals ornés (2008), by Montréal composer Yves Daoust after the chorales in JS Bach’s Orgelbüchlein, with organist Régis Rousseau. In the concert’s first half, organist Isabelle Demers performs works by 20th-century composers who pay homage to their predecessors.

Concert presented in collaboration with Réseaux des arts médiatiques.
