6th Fall Festival (2004)

Once again, fall takes on the colours and sounds of the organ, the starring instrument of a unique musical celebration. For the sixth year, the majestic organ dons all its finery to show off its versatility and extensive repertoire.

The organ will be classical and grandiose during the concert commemorating the 125th anniversary of Casavant Frères organ builders; historical and baroque as it harks back to New France and pays tribute to composer Marc-Antoine Charpentier; calm and meditative as part of an unusual trio; rhythmic and jazzy when joined by brass and percussion; and entertaining during an extraordinary improv match bringing together organists and actors.

The Fall Festival is also a showcase for guest ensembles, from a grand orchestra to a tumultuous brass band.

For ten days, you can experience the joy of music with the 22 concerts and activities presented during the 6th edition of the Fall Festival. Join us for the celebration!
